Accessing workstations on cdf

As some people are asking about it, as I mentioned in a previous post
it seems that the cdf admins do not allow you to ssh to a workstation.
I will inquire about it.
But you can still use wolf with a few cores so that you at least run something on parallel cores.

I expect ot get a response to my inquiry very soon.

I’m wondering would it be faster if we use one CSlab server with 64 cores, compared with multiple CDF servers that are connected via ethernet?

First, not everybody has access to cslab, while everybody has access to cdf, but second and most important, it is prohibited to use cslab for coursework.

Thanks for the reply and I won’t use CSlab servers for my homework. I’m curious about which one is a better option for running parallel algorithms in my future research.
